ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. — A free program for kids in Zephyrhills is again this summer.
The summer rec program supplies a secure, fun place for kids to go when faculty is out. The kids craft, play sports activities, swim and go to the flicks.
The metropolis helps present lots for them to do.
“A lot of times the kids will be in the gym, they get to play, you know, board games, they get to go in the basketball gym at the middle school here. And so they get to do all kinds of fun activities getting moving, get up from behind the screens, you know,” Alison Scheuerman, artwork instructor at Summer Rec, stated.
The program has been round for not less than 25 years however needed to take a break as a result of pandemic.
According to town’s web site, the program reached its pre-registration capability for the 2022 program.
