FORT LAUDERDALE – A Fort Lauderdale building is being evacuated after a construction crew struck a 6″ gas line Wednesday morning.
It occurred at 1891 SE seventeenth Street.
Officials mentioned a close-by building was being evacuated as a precaution and seventeenth Street westbound had been closed.
Officials had been asking drivers to hunt different routes.
