Florida woman accused of killing man with pole – KIRO 7 News Seattle

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. — A Florida woman is accused of beating a man to dying with a pole as a result of she believed a man watching her with his pants pulled down was about to take benefit of ladies, authorities stated.

Jennifer Ann Richards, 46, of Fort Myers Beach, was charged with second-degree homicide within the Dec. 30 assault, the Fort Myers News-Press reported.

Lee County deputies responding to an deserted fuel station in Fort Myers at about 11 p.m. EST discovered an unresponsive man on the scene, in response to WINK-TV. The man, later recognized as 71-year-old Vincent Facchiano, had accidents to his head and face, with his pants pulled right down to his thigh and items of a pole on the bottom close by, in response to the sheriff’s workplace.

According to an arrest affidavit, Richards stated she was dwelling in a campsite on the fuel station and was ingesting a beer in mattress when she observed a man watching him with his pants down, (*7*) reported.

Richards stated she felt threatened and armed herself with a pole earlier than approaching him, the affidavit said.

Deputies stated that Richards claimed the man tried to seize her and she or he started to beat him with the pole, the News-Press reported. She continued to beat him after the man fell to the bottom, in response to the newspaper.

When the sufferer grew to become unresponsive, Richards allegedly walked away and threw half of the pole she had used.

Richards was arrested and brought to the Lee County Jail, the News-Press reported. She is scheduled to look in courtroom on Jan. 30.
