A Florida man died early Friday morning in a one-vehicle crash in Houston County.
Sgt. Jeremy J. Burkett of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency mentioned the incident occurred at about 4:25 a.m. Friday on U.S. 231 close to the 8 mile marker, about one mile south of Dothan.
Kolby S. Scott, 23, of Alva, Fla., was injured when the 2017 Ford F-150 pickup in which he was a passenger left the roadway and struck a number of bushes.
Scott was pronounced useless on the scene.
The driver of the Ford, Scott A. Mason, 22, of Arcadia, Fla., was transported to Southeast Alabama Medical Center for remedy.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division proceed to research.
