Florida Department of Transportation to resume tolls on several roadways

Tolls will quickly be strengthened alongside several Florida roadways.

The Florida Department of Transportation suspended tolls in late September for areas severely impacted by Hurricane Ian.

According to FDOT, regular toll operations will likely be resumed at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 24 on the next roadways: Alligator Ally, Sunshine Skyway and Pinellas Bayway.

Hurricane Ian introduced devastating wind and water injury to many areas alongside Florida’s southwest and central coast.
