Edu Bedia reveals that he only wanted to play for FC Goa in the ISL


Edu Bedia has reiterated his love for Indian Super League (ISL) membership, FC after signing a one-year contract extension with the membership, claiming that he only wanted to “play for the Gaurs” in the ISL.

Bedia who joined FC Goa from Spanish facet, Real Zaragoza in 2017 is about to play in his sixth season of the ISL in the upcoming marketing campaign and has been a key participant for the Gaurs since then, pulling the strings in midfield for numerous managers thus far.

The 33-year-old admitted that he fell in love with the membership, its model of play and the place when he first arrived, and feels at residence in Goa.

“I advised Ravi (Puskur, director of soccer) many instances (final season). I need to play only in FC Goa. If not, I’ll strive to get one other provide from a membership in Spain. After this, I’m going to play only in FC Goa. I play for my crew, my teammates, for FC Goa followers. I do not play for different followers, different groups, different gamers. Sometimes I do not like (what I’m doing), however you have got to kill time, create somewhat struggle to end the recreation and guarantee you have got the most factors,” he said in an interview with Times of India.

Bedia has thus far made 101 appearances for the Gaurs thus far, scoring 13 targets and enjoying a key function in them successful the 2019/20 ISL League Winners Shied, the 2019 Super Cup and 2021 Durand Cup.
