Oklahoma City (KFOR)- The Oklahoma County Detention Center confirms an inmate died early Sunday morning.

John Basco was discovered unresponsive in his cell round 3:52 a.m. by a detention officer who was doing cite checks, stated the OCDC.

The officer known as for medical assist and emergency response and so they instantly started life saving efforts, stated the detention middle.

Basco was pronounced useless at roughly 4:06 a.m. on Sunday, September 11, the OCDC stated.

The State Medical Examiner’s Office will make the ultimate resolution on what precipitated Basco’s death and OSBI will help within the investigation, stated the Oklahoma County Detention Center.

Basco was booked into the detention middle September 8, 2022. He was 48 years previous.
