A 74-year-old woman declared dead at a nursing home was discovered alive two hours later by means of funeral home workers getting to what they believed have been her stays, a Nebraska sheriff’s reliable stated.
The workers of the Lincoln funeral home known as 911, and the woman was taken to a health center alive, the place she remained Monday, Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Ben Houchin stated at a news convention.
The woman’s situation was unavailable. Houchin recognized her as Constance Glantz.

She was taken to the funeral home, where employees called 911 about 11:43 a.m., according to a Lincoln Fire & Rescue spokeswoman.
Houchin described the scene as workers at the funeral home discovered the woman was alive.

The chief deputy said an investigation was underway but that so far there are no indications that the nursing home acted with malice in declaring Glantz dead.
