Investigators filed a case on Friday after a clouded leopard named Nova escaped her habitat. She was found protected about seven hours after being reported lacking and was returned to her enclosure.
During a press convention, a Dallas police spokesperson stated they believed the mesh fence surrounding the clouded leopard habitat was deliberately cut.
In a news release Saturday, police stated investigators found an identical cut at a habitat for Langur monkeys. All of the monkeys had been nonetheless of their enclosure and police stated they didn’t seem like harm or at risk.
