BEAUMONT, Texas — Gov. Greg Abbott and Gubernatorial Candidate Beto O’Rourke are making stops throughout the state forward of the 2022 Texas midterm election, together with some in Southeast Texas.

O’Rourke visited three church buildings in Beaumont and one in Port Arthur Sunday. He shared pictures of his visits in a collection of current Facebook posts.
Those church buildings had been the Paradise Baptist Church, Ebenezer Baptist Church, Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, and the Strong Tower Ministries.

The Democratic candidate met with Beaumont Mayor Robin Mouton, Port Arthur Mayor Thurman Bartie and plenty of different Southeast Texans throughout his go to.
O’Rourke mentioned he was grateful to be welcomed into the church buildings with, “such kindness and warmth.”
Gov. Greg Abbott can also be planning to go to Southeast Texas quickly. The governor is holding a roundtable in Beaumont on Monday, October 17, 2022, to handle the “fentanyl crisis,” in keeping with a launch.
State and space regulation enforcement are set to debate, “Texas’ comprehensive approach to combatting the growing national fentanyl crisis.”
The roundtable will happen on the Texas Department of Public Safety Beaumont headquarters situated at 7200 Eastex Freeway.
Early voting for the 2022 Midterm Election will happen on October 24, 2022. Election day is Tuesday, November 8, 2022.
