Singer Taylor Swift gained most honours at the American Music Awards 2022 taking house six awards, together with Artist of the Year.

Favourite Touring Artiste award was taken house by Coldplay. Harry Styles was named the Favourite male pop artist whereas Swift gained in the Female class. The Favourite pop duo/group was gained by the Ok-pop superband BTS. Favourite pop track was Harry Styles`s `As It Was`.
Kendrick Lamar took house the Favourite Hiphop artiste and in the feminine class rapper Nicki Minaj lifted the trophy.
The movie `Elvis` which was competing alongside Encanto, Sing 2, Stranger Things: Soundtrack from the Netflix Series, Season 4 and Top Gun: Maverick gained the Favourite soundtrack.
Other winners of the night time included Beyonce, who took Favourite R&B Artist and Bad Bunny, who managed to take two, together with Favourite Make Latin Artist. Harry Styles, BTS, Morgan Wallen, Tems, Wizkid and Kendrick Lamar every took two awards.
