LAKE CITY, Fla. (AP) — Three puppies in northeast Florida had been saved from a burning house after a supply driver seen a fire within the dwelling whose proprietor was away, fire officers mentioned.
The driver for Amazon was delivering a bundle on Tuesday when she seen smoke coming from the house and known as 911. Firefighters rescued the pups from the house and revived them from smoke inhalation, based on Columbia County Fire Rescue. Firefighters contained the fire to the room the place it was began.
“Thank you to the Amazon driver who noticed the smoke and called 911,” Columbia County Fire Rescue mentioned in a Facebook publish. “Since the homeowner was not at home at the time, she saved the home and the puppies’ lives!”
The county is situated about 60 miles (about 97 kilometers) west of Jacksonville, Florida.
It’s not the primary time a supply driver has come to the rescue.
